NAPALM CONTINGENT history
This legendary punk band from Padova, together with ZIPP, has been formed between the end of 1977 and the first months of 1978. The line-up was: Stefano (drums); Nuccio (bass); Massimo (guitar and vocals).
In 1979 the band recorded a tape (this is the only recorded stuff by NAPALM CONTINGENT) inside an apartment in via Giotto. The band has used this flat for their rehearsals too.
They've played a lot of gigs and they've played as support for well known italian bands like GAZNEVADA and SKIANTOS, and also for other italian bands like CONFUSIONAL QUARTET from Bologna.
In 1980 the band was working on the debut album and they were thinking to go to a studio to re-record the songs that they've used for the 1979 tape.
Unlucky, at the end of 1980, the band has split up. In 1981, Stefano and Nuccio will form SBA-NDO.
