Born in June of '97, but with the name of Biosystem
55 only in may 1999, the band always tried to play a
kind of music at first close to Crossover with a typical
metal attitude.
Initially, Biosystem 55 played with a different drummer.
Anyway he left the band in august 2000. The band stops
its activity for 8 months, looking for a new element,
recognized in April 2001 (he is Goli). Biosystem decided
to erase the old repertory (limited to a few songs)
and restart practically over again, concentrate on the
new line-up, new genres, sounds and concepts and, above
all, trying to catch up personal sounds and methods,
however maintaining heavy sounds (maybe heaviest than
old Biosystem 55) dismissing crossover for growing into
metal.
Biosystem 55 had two experiences in studio: the first
was in September 2001 at Over Studio Recordings in Cento,
for a single. The song in question is "E.D.T (everyday
tragedy)". The second experience was between August
and September 2002 at Natural Headquarter Studio in
Ferrara, for the official promo 2002 "Fifty-five".
Meaning of Biosystem 55
The number 55 is the addition of the own 4 birth dates:
30 - 8 - 13 - 4 Biosystem represents for us, the whole
concept of nature - society - technology (topic of all
of our lyrics) and the problems linked to this.
Our biosystem, Biosystem 55, is also understood as space
formed by our 4 lives, with their places, habits, feelings
