1997 - Under a Satanic Full Moon, Spiting Fire on the
christian cross, Devastating Graves, drinking their
own blood and swearing fidelity to the BEAST, the black
evil idol, sick and psychopath, ABGOTT was born in the
winter of 1997, from the sick minds of AGAMOTH (6-4
axes & screamer) NEPHILIM (war drums). In November 1997
they recorded "CELTIC METAL BATTLE" unholy demo tape,
old school Black Metal, inspired by bands as Mayhem,
Darkthrone and Impaled Nazarene.
1999/2000 - A new member enjoyed the band Hortern b-axe
and screamer. With this line-up Abgott played around
countries to shows their violence and kill the posh.
In summer 2000, the crowds crazy ones besieged, stormed
and conquered the Ressole Studios and in seven days
the first full-length "ABGOTT" dark evilness was recorded.
2000/2001 - Abgott promoted their work with live shows
"… War shall be tour 2001" for Metal Massacre and Hot
Licks org.s, making live shows with Death ss, Theatre
des Vampires, Cultus Sanguine, Storm Lord, Handful of
Hate. The same year Abgott took part to a compilation
with Norwegian Aeternus for PILGRIM OF GLORY prod. and
took part to MAYHEM TRIBUTE and also Abgott has taken
part to "GUN BLAST…into the underground" compilation
for SHINING.
2002 - The band released new studio album "FIZALA" the
musical translation of the damned book knew as necronomicon.
During the recording session Hortern was sent out from
the band because not able anymore to play fast and in
the proper Abgott philosophy, so Agamoth, again had
to record all the guitars, bass and vocals. Left the
studios Abgott moved to the United Kingdom. Finally,
at the end of 2002 Abgott found a good deal for their
release with the underground, satanic, totally unknown
and illegal label HELVETE. Protected under the desecrated
hands of the dark man Herve Leinog.
2003 - Agamoth found new sick and evil members for the
unholy creature, mixing his experience with different
metal cultures, preparing for the European tour with
a new line-up. Agamoth & Nephilim had chosen as new
axe men: Djavul 6-strings & Morgoth 7-strings. |
