THE GUILDS

In the Middle Ages the corporation of arts and crafts were organized into associations called Guilds and their chiefs were the Consuls who kept in touch with the “Consiglio della Credenza”. Their task was to protect their members’ interests to safeguard goods and the quality of services with relevant correspondence of prices.
