The Credenza | The authors |
The Credenza is a medieval construction,
probably built around 1313 near the market place, to give an office to the Towns Council, which in Medieval time was called
Credenza. It is thought that from the 16th century onwards this palace wasnt used as Town Hall, but for some other not well known purposes. It is a small, double decked brick construction not big. On the ground floor there is a porch with ogival arches and tiny pointed windows, which can be found on the first and second floor too. A simple decoration adorns the top floor under the roof. This building, which is now the municipalitys propriety, was recently put under repair and is now the office for the Carnival organizers. |
