Where will your wedding take place

At the very heart of old Cortona where both the streets and the people converge, the Piazza Repubblica proudly hosts the magnificent Palazzo Communale (or Town Hall) whose lofty presence commands the Piazza below.

The original structure dates from before 1236 when the first recorded marriage ceremony was performed within it’s walls. There have been subsequent changes and additions, but the building in it’s present form has been in continuous use since it’s restoration following a fire in 1569.

Council ChamberWeddings are celebrated in the magnificent medieval council chamber in the presence of Cortona’s Sindaco (or Mayor).

After the ceremony you leave the building using it’s wide stone staircase above the Piazza to the delight of interested onlookers, wishing you all the best!

What more historic and romantic settings could you desire for the day you will want to remember for always?
