Boston today is being devastated by a huge road improvement program. The town is a big construction place.Traffic is tremendous. Think twice before booking a hotel outside the city centre: you may need more than one hour get to downtown attractions.
Consider a one-day car tour of the historical landmarks of the Indipendence War: Concord, Lexington (see pictures) and, of course, Boston.

Curiosity: Harvard University, one of the most famous in America, is the cradle of the political and economical élite. It is located in Cambridge, a small town near Boston (you have to croos a bridge) and it is conceived as a brain factory. Students here listen to renowned teachers and eat in refectories like the one shown in the picture. How much ? About 20,000 $ per year, if I remember well.
