Manu e Fermin in una Tv contro la guerra 

Due tv per raccontare la guerra dalla parte dei pacifisti.

Ieri ha ripreso a trasmettere, su satellite, Global tv. Oggi (14-03-03) intervista esclusiva a Manu Chao. 
E nei prossimi giorni toccherà a No war tv. 
La guerra si avvicina, i media si arruolano sempre più, e il movimento prepara la controffensiva
mediatica, che affiancherà a radio e siti internet già attivi addirittura due televisioni, 
che racconteranno via satellite la guerra e la sua preparazione viste dalla parte dei pacifisti.
Da ieri ha infatti ripreso le trasmissioni Global tv, la televisione disobbediente che aveva già
raccontato, in diretta satellitare e terrestre, il social forum di Firenze, il capodanno degli 
operai cassintegrati di Termini Imerese (trasmise per 15 ore dagli stabilimenti della Fiat), e
la grande manifestazione pacifista del 15 febbraio (con collegamenti da tutto il mondo). Global
tv ha deciso di riprendere le trasmissioni con un'ora di «emissione corsara», dalle 23 alle 24 
su satellite, per raccontare, dal punto di vista del movimento, la guerra e come il mondo si
prepara a fermarla. «Puntiamo molto sull'intreccio di linguaggi, dai documentari alle 
video-inchieste», spiegano gli attivisti. Che avranno un'attenzione particolare su quanto accade in 
Iraq e in Palestina, ma anche sulle mobilitazioni pacifiste. Questa sera verrà trasmessa 
un'intervista esclusiva a Manu Chao, raccolta sabato scorso a margine del concerto al centro 
sociale Villaggio globale di Roma. La tv sarà visibile sul canale satellitare Planete 
(come era già accaduto il 15 febbraio), bouquet Tele + digitale, canale 35 del Goldbox. 
Il sito internet della tv è www.tvglobal.org. Nei prossimi giorni toccherà invece a No war tv,
la televisione nata in occasione della manifestazione pacifista del 10 dicembre 
organizzata da Emergency, Tavola della pace e Rete Lilliput. 
«Questa volta non sarà legata a un evento, come era accaduto per il 10 dicembre, 
ma una tv vera e propria», spiegano gli organizzatori, con uno spazio news,
un magazine e corrispondenze da Bagdad, di giornalisti autorevoli ma anche attivisti di Emergency.
No war tv trasmetterà per diverse ore al giorno, da tre a sei, e avrà il sostegno, anche economico,
di Banca Etica e di diversi sindaci della Toscana (che avevano proposto di rinominarla Millecittà),
che lanceranno una campagna di sottoscrizione, trasmetterà su satellite (canale 150) e avrà anch'essa,
come il Global project (articolato su tre media: radio, tv e un magazine che, dopo un numero zero
lanciato al social forum di Firenze, il 26 marzo andrà in edicola), una piattaforma di 
comunicazione multimediale: un sito internet (www.nowartv.it), ancora inattivo; e una radio
(che trasmetterà su satellite).

the great pacifist manifestation of 15 February (with connections from all the world). Global 
tv it has decided to resume the transmissions with an hour of "emission corsara", from the 23 to the 24 
on satellite, in order to tell, from the point of view of the movement, the war and like the world
