NEW YORK, Dec 11 (Reuters) - Overseas shares traded in the United States rose on Monday as Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional agreed to buy Anglo-Dutch rival Corus Group for 4.9 billion pounds ($9.6 billion) in cash, trumping an offer agreed hours earlier with India's Tata Steel .
