Leslie's Interview With Teresa Mo

This is the translation of the second half of the fifth segment, aired on March 9, 2001.
T = Teresa, L = Leslie

Leslie's Other Half

T:    We've come to the third topic, which is about love, right?
L:    Me and you?  Don't be so greedy, you already have him!
T:    I am jealous, actually, because him, your "him," is really too good, do you know?  Don't you think
        you're so fortunate, for he is so good!  Did you know that when I first met him, actually my heart felt a
        bit uncomfortable, thinking, "what kind of person is he?"  Like that.  And then, I remember very clearly,
        in Vancouver, on that slope in the backyard, he was standing there and I saw him.  Once I saw him, I
        felt, "This is really a good person."  And I've been liking him since then.  And then, I could
        understand why everybody likes him.  But I don't understand why you like him!
L:    I like him because he's good.  He treats me very well.  He is the type who loves me and mine.  He is always helpful without hesitation to all the people around him, including his colleagues, his friends.
        To me – it is beyond words!
T:    That's why now all your friends like him better than they like you!  So how do you look at this?
L:    Because, sometimes I have an edge to me, and he doesn't.  So I feel he is very good – he knows very well his place, when to play what role – this is very good, very good.  Especially since our lives are so busy, our
        work so stressful, there is a need for someone to be always close by to support you.
T:    So you recognize him as your lifelong partner?
L:    Just as you are my lifelong – you can say lover, good friend, or little sister.  This is a great happiness,
        a blessing.  A gift from God.
