"SUN NIGHT" PROJECT
main problem in terms of electricity production is its storage, to date, still
no one, except in small amounts, has managed to find a way to store electricity
in times of excessive production, to exploit them in times of shortage.
The least expensive that I want to propose, although not entirely my original as regards the concept, but original as regards its application, is that the compressed air.
The compressed air is a good inexpensive, non-hazardous, easily transportable and storable, non-polluting and inexhaustible.
The concept of the production of compressed air through a solar system should solve the problem of the futility of solar cells during the night.
Starting from a simple schematic example (see picture) I suggested a photovoltaic system applied to civilian housing.
A town house has a daily requirement of 5 kW with peaks during the night it can be assumed with peak consumption of 2 kW.
In a photovoltaic common during the day, producing 5 kw and when consumption does not affect civil these tips, the excess is fed into the low-voltage external power.
During the night the solar calendar and the home does not work must draw for its 2 kW of demand at night, the external power supply.
With my project, theoretically, I should not need to draw from the external network, in fact, I have a continuing surplus of electricity.
Looking at the picture of my scheme, I would suggest a potential of 10 kw photovoltaic day with a contribution of consumption of 4 kW compressor to produce a useful amount of compressed air required to operate throughout the night, or rather, to restart production morning of the photovoltaic system.
With these conditions I would have at least one day in excess kw (05/04/10 = 1), while the night I would still be a surplus kw enter into the power grid (3-2 = 1).
The basic concept is to make fully independent, 24-hour 24, a photovoltaic system.
I understand that the application refers to a single residential unit may be dubious when assessed from an economic standpoint, but we think the application of a ten / twenty units connected together: the power plant could be less than 10 kw and compressor units may be more powerful, but only one for all units.
Putting more in common than one would arrive photovoltaic total autonomy over the day as a plant could meet the increased consumption of another, as it would come to have less need for storage of compressed air in relation to single dwelling.
In these moments of crisis about the safety of nuclear power plants, high costs of current alternative energy, promising to cut the use of alternative energy incentives, I think my idea is to be taken into account.
