Actually there is a piece of plastic mounted in the front right corner of the lid It goes down into the DC power supply and actuates the door switch Ive never seen one broken but there is always the first time I have seen lots of DC

repair option from HP that will always be to a refurb unit that is what has the 90 day warranty Take it from a former HP CSR The trade ups are not much of a deal price wise HP does take the old printer off your hands though

What do you mean by: After changing the Magenta toner it shows 99 full on cyan Did you also fit a cyan toner cartridge If not have you got the cyan and magenta tonerdrums in the wrong place

Hi Moe Thanks for getting back From the paperwork I have for this machine the Fuser assembly was replaced at 210000 and then at 400255 sheets by HP The notes say it was preventive maintenance rather than hardware fault per the company

both printers If the epson works and the iip does not then there is a loose or bent cable in the printer interworks or the formatter somehow got damaged If both printers now do not work then yes it could be a port or cable issue

If you started getting the problem 3 days after you bought it you should have followed the instructions in your operation manual and called 1800 SAMSUNG and they would have sent you a new printer or replaced it Thats why it has a year
