The Chitalishte (cultural house) “St.st. Kiril and Metodii” in the village existed since 1870 but it was founded offiicially on 24 May 1922.
The first librarian was Angel Ivanov Cholakov.

The present cultural house was built in 1962.
There are a theatrical hall with and a cinema, existed until the 90s.
The reading room has a library with 14000 units- literature, videofilms, discs, games.

It is a cultural centre for Koprivets and surrounding villages for many years.
Nowadays, there are an orchestra for traditional national music and a folk- group, founded in 1997.
