Cheating Death è un programma Anti-Cheat per Half Life Counterstrike sviluppato gratuitamente e senza scopi di lucro dal gruppo [Unitedadmins]. Cheating Death è il miglior Anti-Cheat presente sulla piazza; ma questo non basta ancora per bloccare tutti i cheater che infestano costantemente tutti i giochi online. Questa ultima versione 4.7.0.4 introduce nuovi detections di cheats. Piano piano tutti verranno riconosciuti e bloccati. Con l'ultimo aggiornamento di Steam (vedi fondo pagina) cheating death non funziona.

Con l'uscita si STEAM e della patch 1.6 di Counterstrike il fenomeno del cheating è aumentato esoponenzialmente; Cheating Death, per motivi tecnici legati al cambiamento dell'engine del gioco e altre modifiche strutturali, non era compatibile con questa nuova versione, dunque i cheaters abbondavano. Con l'uscita della versione 4.7.0 la compatibilità è totale e con tutti i tipi di S.O microsoft. Adesso su gran parte dei server Counterstrike 1.6 è obbligatorio questo programma anti cheat (vedi ngi).

Info: Nella giornata di oggi Steam è stato aggiornato, come ogni settimana. Ecco il changelog:

COUNTER-STRIKE CHANGES:

* Added extra progress indicators for downloading & initializing VAC security modules
