INSTRUCTIONS
GROUP LEADER: Do not accept the form
if it is not neat and easy to read and if it does not respect the
format (name, etc.) and margins indicated above.
You must give one or zero points for each of the following 5 criteria:
(i.)
SUBGOAL B: Video
and Body Language Checklist:
1 =
All body
signals are given and, for each, a credible hypothesis of the
meaning.
0 = Not
all signals are given or not all are accompanied with a credible
hypothesis of meaning.
(ii.) SUBGOAL C:
Critical incident:
1 = The student doesn't give just
personal opinions or “diplomatic” answers; s/he shows
REAL
FEELING for BOTH the
French woman's and the American man's views. Both appear
“logical”.
0=
The student defends the person chosen for purely
personal opinions or tries to be diplomatic
with a compromise or with a platitude: “She acts like that
because her culture taught her that.”
(iii.) SUBGOAL
D: Video “Passport Control” :
1= The student shows an understanding of “accommodation”;
s/he shows that the Arab man began
really to accommodate when he stopped accommodating to the Israeli
attire and way of acting.
0 = The student does not show an
understanding of the notion “accommodation” and how it
can
seem positive or
negative.
PART
5 OF “HOW TO INTERVIEW”
(iv.)
Translation -
1 = The translation follows the three
criteria indicated in “Appendix E”
0 = There are parts
of the translation that should have been omitted, adapted or
integrated.
(v.)
Interview in Italian (audio cassette or
.audio file) and comment
1 = The student sees the
relativity of Italian culture through her/his interview.
0 = The
student sees no relativity or the questionnaire wasn't good enough to
reveal it.
Group Leaders can add a short
comment after a student's mark to justify the mark given (one or two
sentences).
