"The Light of Africa"

Con la presentazione delle opere artistiche, presso la saletta d'arte di Villa Romana in Grado, realizzate dai ragazzi africani, Akiim, Ade, Canara, residenti alla Caritas di Gorizia, e dell'artista Renato Elia si è dato il via al progetto The Light of Africa.
Un progetto nato dall'incontro delle diverse culture che presso la struttura Caritas hanno potuto trovare un loro "punto d'incontro".
Ed è proprio da questo lavorare, artisticamente, insieme che si è potuto dilatare il tempo del dialogo.
Un confrontarsi alla ricerca di quei saperi profondi che ogni cultura possiede, sin dai tempi della sua origine.
Don Paolo Zuttion, presente con i suoi ragazzi e collaboratori tra cui il sig. Giulio Semino, all'inaugurazione della vernissage, ha sottolineato che questo progetto può essere la base di partenza per un nuovo approccio con il continente Africa, un paese enorme di un miliardo di persone, che ancora oggi è soggetto a nuovi colonialismi.
Questo gruppo di giovani si è formato per poter riprodurre il sapere acquisito ad altri gruppi e in modo particolare operando sia nel nostro paese che nel paese africano.
Un progetto, forse, ambizioso che però desidera sinceramente offrire ai bambini africani un futuro di amore e di serenità.
Un ringraziamento alla associazione Nuovo Lavoro che è stata sempre disponibile a sostenere questo interessante lavoro progettuale.

With the presentation of the artistic works, inside of the "saletta d'arte" of Villa Roman, realized by the resident African boys, Akiim, Ade, Camara at the Caritas of Gorizia, and of the artist Renato Elia is going The Light of Africa project.
A project been born by the meeting of the different cultures that press the Caritas of Gorizia they can find a them "meeting point."
And it is really from this to work, artistically, together that is been able to dilate the time of the dialogue.
A to compare to the search of that deep knowledge that every culture possesses, since the times of them origin.
Don Paul Zuttion, present with his boys and collaborators at the inauguration of the vernissage underlined that this project can be the base of departure for a new approach with continent Africa, an enormous country of a thousand million of people, that is submitted today still to new colonialisms.
This group of young people is formed to be able to reproduce other groups and in particular way working in Italia and in Africa.
A project, perhaps, ambitious that however it sincerely desires to be able to give a future of love and serenity to the future of the African children.
A thanks to the association Nuovo Lavoro that has always been available to sustain this interesting job.

un progetto x il futuro

Opere di Renato Elia e di Akeem, Ade, Camara

In febbraio di quest'anno, alla Caritas di Gorizia, era stato dato il via a "Futuri Temporis", un progetto formativo per gli immigrati presenti nella struttura.
Dopo diversi incontri le parole si sono trasformate in disegni, colori, opere d'arte....
Un modo, una via come tante altre per iniziare un viaggio di collaborazione aperto al futuro.
Akeem, Ade, Camara, Muri e Chirak, hanno percorso le difficili rotte del flusso migratorio, che proviene dall'area del Golfo di Guinea, per incontrarsi qui a Gorizia e nel lavoro svolto con Renato Elia, nel laboratorio del pensiero artistico, hanno potuto osservare la loro Africa da un nuovo punto di vista.
Uscendo dal loro mondo hanno conosciuto se stessi e il grande continente a "forma di cuore".
Un "grande cuore" per l'umanità del futuro.
Per questo, presentiamo i quadri a Grado, presso la Saletta d'Arte di Villa Romana, in Viale Dante 20 tel.0431 82604, dal 19 al 30 maggio, una città di mare per guardare lontano verso il nostro futuro d'esseri umani liberi, da paure e pregiudizi, capaci di fratellanza.
Ringraziamo Don Paolo Zuttion, i suoi collaboratori e l'Associazione Nuovo Lavoro che hanno permesso a questo piccolo progetto di trovare un suo spazio nella nostra realtà.

In February of this year, at the Caritas of Gorizia, the street was given to "Future Temporis", a formative project for the present immigrants in the Caritas structure.
After different meetings the words were turned into sketches, colors, works of art....
A way, a street like many others to begin a trip of collaboration opened to the future.
Akeem, Ade, Camara, Muri and Chirak, have crossed the difficult routes of the migratory flow, that originates from the area of the Gulf of Guinea, to meet here together in Gorizia and in the job developed with Renato Elia, in the laboratory of the artistic thought, they have been able to observe their Africa from a new point of view.
Leaving their world they seen themselves and the great continent in the shope of a Heart.
A great heart for the humanity of the future.
Therefore, we would like to introduce the pictures in Grado, inside the Saletta of art of Villa Romana, in Via Dante 20 tel.0431 82604, from 19 to May 30, a city on the see, looking forwards towards our future to the free human beings, from fears and prejudices, able brotherhood.
We thank Don Paul Zuttion, his collaborators and the association Nuovo Lavoro that have allowed this small project to find one space inside our reality

"The Light of Africa" 2009 04 28

The light of Africa was organise by Renato Elia (Helias das Licht) and the group of Africa. Akeem, Ade, Chirak, Camara and Muri, the project was hold on 28/4/2009.

What is "The light of Africa"? This project come out through our thinking during the art

The project is for future of children in Africa and also for the future of children all over the world. (BBF)

This project make us show our imagination to the people also bring peace to the nation.

The light of Africa is combined with art because I believe art bring many things. friendship, love, peace and happiness, art is not only to drawing a picture, art is thinking.

We study many thing through art: behaviours, political and constitution of Italy, since i meet Renato I saw changing in my life, now I'm a new person.
