Yeah, a sacred heart. I also have a fairy kneeling in grass on my hip, rosary beads on my back, an angel on my left ankle, and a garland of flowers around my right ankle. The rosary beads are because I was raised Catholic. It's a bit out of rebellion.

WHICH CAME FIRST, YOUR OBSESSION WITH HOCKEY OR YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH A HOCKEY PLAYER?
Tony Danza [her Who's the Boss? costar] used to have season tickets to the Kings, so I would go to see hockey games where these big, sweaty guys would get out there and, like, beat the shit out of each other. You see, I never went to high school, so I didn't have much of a social life. I met this guy just from going to the games, and then after our first date he got traded to the Islanders.

WHAT TYPES OF MEN HAVE YOU DATED SINCE THEN?
I've dated the sweet mama's boy, the musician rocker, the struggling artist--basically, a lot of people without jobs.

EVER DATED ANYONE FAMOUS?
Well, I was with Jason London for a while; I was engaged to Scott Wolf of Party of Five and White Squall. But I'm very bitter about that whole thing.

WHAT HAPPENED?
As much as I'd love to talk about it, I get so disgusted when I read interviews with him and he talks about it. I don't want people to know my business because it's such an awful heartbreak for me -- and the fact that he could just talk about it to a stranger really gets to me.

This is why I never go into my Web site. Tony and I had this father-daughter relationship, and it always drove me a little crazy, because I had an Italian father of my own. I certainly didn't need two.

I did the first couple of years -- and then I had help.

Right. If you were reading it, you noticed the change. Totally different styles of writing. What happened was, I would answer the really heavy questions. But the ones like, I have blue eyes; what kind of eye shadow should I wear? -- those I kind of, like, gave up.

I hate that people think she's a bad girl, but it's easy to say that because she's promiscuous. When I got the part, I bawled my eyes out because I was in this business for fifteen years without a studio film.

EMBRACE OF THE VAMPIRE WAS HYPED AS SOFT PORN. HOW DID YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT?
I would say that anybody who would go and watch that film would see that there is talent to back it up.

DIDN'T PENTHOUSE FOUNDER BOB GUCCIONE'S COMPANY PUT UP THE MONEY FOR IT?
I just found that out, and I was so irate. They kept that from me until about four months ago. I'm not going to say that I was manipulated into doing things that I didn't want to do. I did it because it was a woman director and I felt protected. And I learned a lot as far as knowing where the camera is and what coverage they need so that it's not all explicit. I have a killer nudity clause now in my contract.

THERE WAS A LESBIAN SCENE IN EMBRACE OF THE VAMPIRE.
Yes, with Charlotte Lewis. The film was about a girl, who was raised by nuns, dealing with her sexuality. That's where the lesbian scene came in, because in Catholicism, supposedly the nuns are lesbians. That's okay, but penetration isn't? How fucked is that religion? In Poison Ivy 2 there were two long lesbian scenes in the director's cut, and I was, like, "We get the picture. Why does it have to be so long?" And my attorney went and watched it, and I picked out shots that I wanted shorter. But you know, Jennifer Tilly has a real erotic scene in Embrace. Who cares about that, right? But the little girl from Who's the Boss? ... that's a big deal.

IS SEX AN ISSUE FOR YOU?
I feel a lot healthier when I'm having sex. Physically. I feel all these jitters when I wake up in the morning. Just energy jitters. I take vitamins, I work out every day. When I'm having sex, I don't have that.

SEX IN THE MORNING COULD PROBABLY BE THE ANSWER TO THAT.
Anytime. I'm fine.
