DVD does not read DVD but other CD's - HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162B
The drive will read normal CD's for games and images etc just not DVD CD's. In the device manager it is listed as HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8162B and when I do a troubleshoot it tells me that no new or updated driver is available - and

Open Question: why do all the places you go and try to down load
my pc works fine but my daughter has been given a lap top with win95 a usb conector but no cd .i have got an external cd dvd but requier driver for win95 so i can upgrade to win 98or even xp all the driver down load sites i have tried
