Angelgiorgio Jorizzo Eng. Doct.

Eng. A.Jorizzo worked hard to improve

his country, by teaching anti-seismic construction systems

and teaching to build tastefully in the environment.

He was also Mayor in Villanova from 1936- to 1937 and from 1940 to 1943

and improved the green look of the Village with many beautiful conifers

He was president of Doct.Engineer’s Order in the Province of Avellino and

contributed to many scientific magazines

When he showed the King V.Emanuele III the destroyed village, he was also

rewarded with a silver medal for great help given to the population

during the earthquake in July 1930
