Angelo Raffaele Jorizzo

was born in 1900 in Villanova.

He was a passionate botanist, a polemic autor of leading writings and

also of a book about Villanova’s history

Particularly he was such a kind, refined and respectfull man,

loved by all nephews,

died in Villanova in 1997.

He made and loved, on the top of galavizza hill,

the country house “Il casino”

a very pleasant, evocative and panoramic place,

where he loved to rest, to write, to work.
