ABSTRACT
This study is made by the collaboration among ENEA (National
Agency for New technology,Energy and Environment),University of Naples "Parthenope"
and Pasta AntonioAmato company.
The report provides a Life Cycle Assessment based method for studying and quantifying the environmental impacts due to the production of pasta.The calculation of damage is made using a Dutch software named SimaPro 5.0 based on Eco-indicator 99 method.
The thesis also includes a sensitivity analysis used to evaluate the critical variables and to suggest some improvement proposals in the production process.
