La ragazza di Lubecca, 1962
Questa storia ripropone, in chiave satirica, l'eterno conflitto tra Est e Ovest, con soluzioni molto divertenti sul filo di quell'umorismo inglese sfruttato anche da recenti film. In esso si intreccia una storia d'amore tra il protagonista non più giovanissimo e una ragazza di Lubecca, misteriosa e affascinante, bella e infedele che complica vieppiù le già drammatiche vicende del conferenziere. Il segreto del successo di questo nuovo romanzo sta nel dosare elementi comici con la più bonaria comprensione della debolezze umane e della stupidità del mondo. Ogni lettore si sente preso di mira, ma non ne esce amareggiato, bensì divertito e commosso. |

Nel leggere la tesi di cui sopra si tenga presente l’anno di discussione: gli anni 1968-69 sono universalmente conosciuti come gli anni della contestazione studentesca che porterà a notevoli cambiamenti nella società contemporanea
Per questa ragione l’elenco delle opere e della nota bibliografica è limitata all’anno 1966.
Fino ad allora le tesi assegnate riguardavano quasi esclusivamente gli autori classici: questa rappresentò un'eccezione.
