THE EXPLOITED Punk
Singer
Wattie Buchan and guitarist "Big John" Duncan, in
1980 put on The Exploited in East Kilbride Edimburgh. With
Gary McCormick (bass) and Drew Campbell (drums), they record
in 1981 the famous "Punk is not dead". Their punk is full
of attacks to social problems and to power abuses of police. Their gigs
are famous for the disorders generated by fans. Il cantante Wattie Buchan e il chitarrista"Big John" Duncan, nel 1980 formano nel quartiere di East Kilbride a Edimburgo gli Exploited. Grazie anche al bassista Gary McCormick e al batterista Drew Campbell danno alle stampe nel 1981 il mitico "Punk is not dead". Il loro punk è pregno di attacchi alla disoccupazione e agli abusi di potere delle forze dell'ordine. I loro concerti sono spesso caratterizzati da incidenti generati dai loro fans scatenati. |
