Una delle band che più ha lasciato la propria impronta e influenza sui gruppi di allora. Formatisi nel 1977 a Los Angeles, nei loro inizi si sentiva molto l'influenza dei Ramones. La svolta si ha quando durante un loro concerto il nerboruto Henry Rollins sale sul palco regalando una performance vocale che impressiona la band. Rollins diventa la voce dei Black Flag e incide lo straordinario "Damaged". Il gruppo si è sciolto nel 1986, Henry Rollins ha proseguito la carriera come solista.

Black Flag left an important sign for the other bands of that period. Born in 1977, at the beginning they were influenced by Ramones. The turning point arrives during a gig, when Henry Rollins appeares on stage and gives a great perfomance. Henry Rollins becomes the voice of the band and records the fantastic "Damaged". The band split up in 1986 and Rollins put on a solo project.
