Less than 2 months ago I went by bike to Zürich, thinking that it was enough for this year. But since my company is closing 3 weeks long for summery holidays and since I have no girlfriend, I decide to have another bike trip.

For all the Italian part of the trip of today, I have to say I did not find nearly no traffic. The reason is because most of the Italian companies have summer holidays during august.

The first part of the day the weather is not so bad, but in the afternoon there is a very hard thunderstorm which makes me to have a break.
Unlikely in Italy, in Austria the most of the companies do not close in august for summer holidays, however today (15 august) is national holiday, so there is not so much traffic.
And also, a lot of streets in Austria have bike ways.

Today nothing of particular happens, until the last 60 km from Vienna... I am headed to north, and there is a very string wind west-to-east. Some blows even make me to go out of the road... After some km going very slowly, I follow my gut-feeling, and I follow some others small streets bettered covered by trees...
If you have a look at the maps at day 3, you will notice that in Bad Völlslau I took a strange direction: it was to avoid the wind.
Here I am:
I expected to find a lot of bike ways in Vienna, but it seems that from the point where I entered the town there are not so many :-(

Today I start pretty late (9 a.m.).
And what I thoughts about the bike ways in Vienna changes totally today: not I find really a lot of them :-)
Some km out of Vienna, I have a flat (got when passing trough a rail way crossing)

The following is a picture that really deserves to be put in the Internet. It is a flower fields, you can pick up by yourself the flowers and then leave the money where indicated by the arrow: there is nobody checking if you are really paying!!! I saw many of those “automated” flower fields.
Now my trip is going to have a not very nice sudden end..
I am going in middle-of-no-where street...
Which has a bridge on the right (vehicles coming from the bridge must give way, you can see the sign)
For some strange reason this truck forgets to check if there are other vehicles coming (that means, he does not notice me ...)
Fortunately (?) the truck is going pretty slowly, its bumper touches my shoulder “softly” and throws me down. The shift of the bike gets broken, and I just get some grazes...
