BIOGRAPHY
Eon Guitar Quartet, founded in 1999, is : Giovanni Maselli, Rita Casagrande, Roberto Tascini and Mario Barbuti.
All the members are graduated with full degrees in different Italians' conservatories and come from different musical experiences, from the classic music tout-court to the electronic music passing through Jazz and Blues.
Eon Guitar Quartet is actually considered one of the best and the most active chamber ensamble in the international musical World of guitar and several composers dedicated some important pages to the quartet.
M° Maselli and the M° Tascini direct respectively The International Guitar Festival “S. Filippo Neri” in Bologna and The Musical Festival “Joaquin Rodrigo” in Porto San Giorgio, hosted in the past years the most important and rappresentative names in the guitar world and gave evidence to many young talents in the international panorama.
Eon Guitar Quartet performed all over the World: Auditorio Nacional Blas Galindo “Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra” Mexico City, Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Morelia, Festival Internacional de guitarra de Zacatecas (Mexico), Internacional Guitar Festival Turku (Finland), Quito Guitar Festival (Ecuador),Kaluga Internacional guitar festival (Russia), Katharinenkapelle Neunkirchen am Brand (Germany) and some others Festivals of Guitar and concert halls in Italy (Bologna, Campobasso, Nuoro, Grosseto, Naples, Rome, Trento etc…) always with very positive comments and critiques.
