LANSING (AP) -- People who make minimum wage in Michigan just got a raise. The state's minimum wage increased to $6.95 an hour from $5.15 an hour on Monday, the first of three increases scheduled to take effect over the next two years under legislation signed by Governor Jennifer Granholm.
