BobTalk

This ones called New Orleans Rag, you'll find out why. I'll try to remember all the verses for you. At one time this was very long. But É. I don't think it will be quite that long tonight. I'll try to see what I can put in it though.

Red wing. It's reform school. Don't have no high school football teams though or nothing like that. No cheer leaders.

This is for all the boys who know girls who want them to go out and get themselves killed. (before Hero Blues)

If you É., want to know about the abolishment of boxing I would ask Miss Benny Kid Paret or Mrs. Davey Moore before I asked Cassius Clay. Just a personal tendency there. (before Who Killed Davey Moore?)

I believe in the ten commandments. The first one is I am the Lord thy God. It's a great commandment if it's not said by the wrong people. So here's this is called Masters of War.

This is a carnival song, fairgrounds. I just want to speak about it. (before Dusty Old Fairgrounds).

I have a poem here. It's not a poem its ahh. This is the first concert I played alone in New York, really. An a fellow in Brooklyn State Hospital, his name is Woody Guthrie. But err Woody is more than a folk singer. He's really something else more than a folk singer an err there's this book coming out that's dedicated to him. An they asked me to write something about Woody. like what does Woody mean to you in 25 words. An err I couldn't do it I wrote out 5 pages an err I have it here. I have it here by accident actually. But I'd like to say this out loud. So this is my feelings towards Woody Guthrie. Cannot really be told in err how many records of his I buy, it's a lot more than that actually. So if you can roll along with this thing here this is called Last Thoughts On Woody Guthrie.

***MICK TAYLOR TORRENT WAR***

Ok, since we’ve had 3 MT DVDs seeded in the last few days I thought I’d give everyone a break and a chance to catch up, so I’m seeding an audio show instead of another DVD. This also is the first installment of the continuation of the Bob Dylan 1984 tour started last year on STG but never finished due to the untimely collapse of STG. This is another great Dylan-Taylor close to the end-of-the-tour show. A couple of these songs were used on the CD “Real Live” by Dylan. I’ll seed the remaining unseeded Dylan-Taylor shows to complete the tour that I started seemingly so long ago, lol. Enjoy!

Comments:

This appears to be a complete show. All track transitions

appear normal both to the ear and eye. The set list is a

little different from the other '75 Forum shows. There appears

to have been some equipment problem after "Tumbling Dice"

causing Mike to stall for while then do the band introductions

before "It's Only Rock and Roll" instead of after it. It also

appears that most bootlegs do not include Billy Preston's two

songs which are present here.

“THE ROLLING STONES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR 1975”

The tour was called the “1975 Tour Of The Americas”

but as the South American leg was cancelled, and a

few more U.S dates was added the name is a bit misleading.

The´75 tour was interesting in many aspects, the Stones

had not toured for almost two years and Mick Taylor had

left the band just before the first recording sessions

for the Black& Blue album. To make a tour without him must

have been a big challenge as he had become a very important

part in the Stones sound, especially during live shows. I

think the decision to add a percussion player (Ollie Brown)

and to use both Billy Preston and Ian Stewart was a smart way

to fill the gap. This tour was also the first of three 75, 76,

and 78 when they performed without a brass section in the

regular line-up. Ron Wood from The Faces was hired as Mick

Taylor’s replacement, and he made this summer tour with The

Stones in between The Faces two last tours. When The Faces

broke up after the1975 autumn tour he could join as a permanent

member. But I think that Ronnie was an employee until 1992!

My ambition with this document is to make a guide to all the

1975 shows that have been released either on regular CDs or

by well known CDR companies in the bootleg jungle of The Rolling

Stones live shows. Most of the CDs are done from audience tapes,

just a few soundboard recordings can be found on the market

(no one is perfect)
