84440-7

Highway 61 Interactive CD-ROM. Stereo, w/elec. backing.  This is an edited (and shortened) version of CO-68729-3 which Dylan had originally recorded on Nov 20, 1961.

On Dec 8, 1964, Tom Wilson produced at an over-dub session where studio musicians (Dylan not present) added a quasi-"folk-rock" style backing with drums and electric intruments.

Disc 2 upgraded

Here is an upgrade to "FSOJOTS" disc two. On this one, tracks 12-23 (12-6-62 session) come from a stereo tape source. Also, the speed has been adjusted upward slightly, as the original version may have run a little slow.

To my ears, the upgrade is a nice improvement. However, i leave it up to each individual listener to make qualitative assessments as to whether this version is better or not.
