Concert organised by Phil Ochs. Track 1 Arlo lead vocal. The show
included speeches by Larry Estridge on Chile. Chile. Dylan appeared as a favour
to Phil Ochs. Due to some early back stage drinking Bob's pretty drunk at the
start, giving a very shakey performance. Some press reports unkindly suggesting
that Bob falls off the stage at the end !

Notes: according to Olof, this show was recorded by Dylan’s crew.
He also notes that there is a circulating audience 40 minutes video recording.
There is an minor, odd sound at start of d1t04, as well as d1t11. At first I
though they were SBE's, but on inspecting the .wav's, I am not sure what they
are. Minor sound drops/fluctuationss at d2t05 1:41, d2t09 2:52, d2t09 2:54
& d2t10 4:17. Fade out/edit d1t06 > d1t07, edit d2t08 > d2t09.

This is the 20th Show of Bob Dylan's 1984 tour with former Rolling
Stones guitarist
Mick Taylor. The band seems to have settled into a temporary state
of complacently and
routine. Both this show and the show before (Milan) are very solid
there just seems to be
something missing; inspiration at the beginning of the shows.
Dylan builds his vocals
and continues until the end of the show. He repeats the line
"I'm leaving my heart here
with you" in the song "Simple Twist of Fate" during
the verses. Mick Taylor's playing
seems to mirror Dylan's building during the show. Listen to Taylor
on "Every Grain of
Sand" it's great.
Right now is the 20th Anniversary of those shows and I thought it
would be cool to
release each show to STG on the date of the actual show plus 20
years. So, here is the
twentieths show; only 7 more!!! We'll see if I can keep up with
the rest of the tour. So
far so good!
HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO LISTEN TO ALL OF THESE SO FAR????
