FROM GREEK AND ROMAN MYTHOLOGY

The Cumana Sybil was a virgin priestess, endowed with prophetical virtues inspired by Apollo god. She predicted the future by writing on leaves. She lived in a cave where blowed sudden and strong gusts of wind. The leaves often became confused making lose to prediction text the arrangement given by Sybil. The predictions became divided into small sentences and hard to understand.
