Within the second edition of the Parma Festival of Poetry "For other lines”, promoted by Parma Municipality – Bureau of culture and tourism -, the Bodoniano Museum and the Palatina Library assured their own collaboration, just like last year, by organizing the bibliographical exhibition "Poets in illustrated editions of XXth century". The exhibition, which took place in the Petitot Gallery of Palatina Library and was inaugurated on the 20th of June, was supervised by Ilaria Azzoni, Leonardo Farinelli and Caterina Silva. ENLARGES PHOTO The attempt was to show how, in the books of 1900, the diagram had embellished the typographical page, or how the engraver and the photographer had interpreted the poetic text; moreover it was an important occasion to show the wealth of the modern bibliographical patrimony of Palatina Library and of the Bodoniano Museum, the pieces of the last one still little known by the public. The elegant and simple lay-out followed a chronological criterion, starting from the more "ancient" text, dated 1911. Following this temporal order, famous poets were side by side with less famous ones, great classics with contemporary Italian and foreign ones, which were considered important all alike, since the aim was mainly to show the graphical and typographical evolution of the texts through the years. Among the poets there was also the artist from Parma ENRICO Campioli, with his poetry "the ANONYMOUS" and his two drawings: "Shapes from the unknown" and "Lights in the dark". In this page there are the pictures of his showcase.
