uh i have a e6300 and that asus mobo and the ultra aluminus mobo iam still in need of a burner =/ then the media center OS, then the tv tuner/capture card then this will all hopefully be built by thanksgiving so
WinDVD 8.0 Install Nightmare
One has an ASUS board, AMD 2600+ and Radeon card, the other is a Gigabyte AMD Nivida combi. On both computer I have the same problem that after installing the files I get a lot of error messages about registring filters.

sent in a asus laptop for warranty service. according to the retailer that sold it to me, it had a bad motherboard. my wireless connection wasnt working properly and after doing various tests, i was told it was a bad motherboard. asus

not much since it is a second computer. i only use it for word processing and surfing the net (mostly cf)! i dont order/purchase anything on that computer. sorry dont trust windows for that stuff. ill stick to my mac for most things
