This is a presentation of some of the photographs I shot on the occasion of my trip through Mexico during the months of June and July 1999.

Why did I choose to make a website on Mexico in black & white?

The first reason is that I wanted to put at the disposal of other people who love photography a series of images which I consider worthy of being shared.

The second reason is that I wanted to present a range of pictures that could be of help and interest to those who are planning to go on a trip to Mexico, and to do so by showing the most important places linked with the history of Pre-Columbus cultures.

The camera I decided to use was a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex with a Pro-Tessar 35mm  f 3.5 lense, and in some cases a Canon Eos50E with a Sigma 70-210 APO f. 2.8 lense.
