it is an alcatel speedtouch home. obviousely lightning could be a possibility but i am able to connect to the modem with http and ping it without any problems. i had a telkom technician out here today and his usb modem connected

i'd also like to know the answer especially that the globe speedtouch usb dsl modem will absolutely not like to work on the macbook. i heard though that alcatel/speedtouch is working on a new driver. _________________

1- My ST 330 USB ADSL had come with my connection in UK. 1- Both lights remain solid green (USB and ADSL lights). 1- Uninstalled and installed ST330 drivers (one that came tih modem and the one suggested in this forum)
