Camp Mariah fa parte del Fresh Air Found che aiuta i bambini provenienti da famiglie povere. Dà loro la possibilità di partire, di allontanarsi dalle loro città durante il periodo estivo. I bambini vengono affidati a famiglie per tutto il periodo delle vacanze. Camp Mariah è un progetto di Mariah. E’ un posto dove i bambini si divertono, nuotano, giocano ma possono anche imparare, studiare e prendere decisioni sul loro futuro. Mariah ha portato a Camp mariah molte persone del campo della musica a parlare con i bambini su come si realizzano i propri sogni. Non erano vere e proprie star, ma collaboratori, produttori, persone che lavoravano nelle radio, comunque amici di Mariah che parlavano ai bambini perché li potevano capire, perché avevano avuto lo stesso stile di vita. Per lei questo è un progetto molto importante. Mariah visita spesso Camp Mariah, il video di “Always be my baby” è stato girato lì.

Camp Mariah is a Fresh Air Fund camp that takes kids from the inner cities who don't have the money to leave and who haven't been out of the city for most of their lives and it brings them to different homes over the summer. My particular camp is a career awareness camp. It's like a regular camp where the children have fun and swim and play and all that but they also learn about different careers. I bring different people from the music industry up there to talk about how they got started, like not just stars, but you know, whatever, people that are working behind the scenes, production, different artists, different radio people that are friends of mine and they talk to the kids and they can relate to them because they have similar backgrounds.
