I was born in Rovigo, Italy, the 1st of June of 1971, and I grew up in Monza, attending school there up to the scientific

high-school. I also was an exchange student in an American high-school for one year, in the state of Iowa.

I’ve studied and been occupied with art and architecture in Italy and for one year in France.

In 1998 I travelled for a few months in Italy and abroad making sketches, watercolors and drawings of architectures,

           monuments, works of art.

In 2000, 2001, and the beginning of 2002 I painted a few canvases with oil colors, whose most recurrent subjects were

Michelangelo’s statue of David and other works of art and monuments. Some of these paintings were on show at the

Lorenzoni gallery of Pisa, Italy, in 2001, in a shopping center at Cinisello Balsamo, Italy, in 2002, and in Milan in 2003.

In the same years I made a few models from clay, of handling sizes, which I reproduced with plaster.

I built a little wall sustaining an embankment in Sardinia, Italy, and a fireplace on the embankment. I worked a little with

stones, cement, plaster, and a few building materials.

In 2003 I participated in a contest of ideas concerning the urban design, for which I elaborated a project of homes and

their extensions of service in the town of Bergamo.

I painted a few canvases setting the figures on geometrical regulating traces. The subjects were for the most part acci-

dental, and the canvases were painted more quickly than previously. More attention was dedicated to composing the

forms according to harmonically proportioned patterns. Some of these paintings were at an exhibition at Porta Ticinese,

           in Milan, in 2003.

I also elaborated a few projects of domestic equipment (of which I’ve built a few examples), of little homes, of an ‘ur-

ban sector’ of residences, which is an imaginary city block of homes and their services, and of a city for 1 million peo-

           ple.

In 2005 I assembled a few “geometrical sculptures”, that is compositions of pieces of wood, plywood, metal, accord-

ing to dimensional relations that could be proportioned and harmonic.

In this period, moreover, I began to use the digital camera to film a few videos, of several different subjects and them-

es, which I edited with Windows Movie Maker.

In 2006 and 2007 I designed a few buildings for homes or for particular uses (such as a mediatheque and a laboratory

for handcraft work), among which the “Palaces for the People”, part of an urban plan that pursues energetic indepen-

dence of the buildings relying greatly on eco-compatible resources, on request from an American researcher-scientist I

met in a forum on the internet.

In 2007 I painted several plywood panels with oil colors representing episodes of Saint Francis’ life, and subjects that

I felt were similar or relevant. I also drafted the architectural designs of a few homes, in the form of row houses, or of

           stand-alone houses.

It has always been immensely valuable for me to dedicate attention to the creative phenomenon in various and different

aspects, spiritual and material, and notice how an invention, the development of an idea or of the plasticity of things re-

curs in one field and another, or it produces effects in common among them.
