10 aprile - La rivista "National Enquirer" del 9 Aprile 2002 riporta Kim Basinger in copertina: "ALEC Baldwin might be a bloviator, but a wife beater? The National Enquirer claims in a front-page story that the actor used to hit his spouse Kim Basinger. The couple's divorce was granted in February, but they still haven't worked out the financial settlement. "She's worried about his stability," one "close friend" is quoted in the weekly. "She claims he hit her more than once." According to the Enquirer, Kim arrived with a new bodyguard at a recital at their daughter Ireland's California school, and sat as far away as possible from Baldwin. Several calls to Baldwin's rep yesterday were not returned".

22 aprile - "Analisi Finale", trasmesso lo scorso giovedì 18 aprile su RAI TRE alle ore 21.00 ha ottenuto un ascolto pari a 2.725.000 di telespettatori (share: 9,56 %). Tornando al tumultuoso divorzio tra Kim e Alec, in un'esclusiva intervista rilasciata al "National Enquirer", Billy Baldwin, fratello di Alec, è intervenuto in difesa del fratello, sostenendo che "Kim's a black widow spider...she's a nutcase!". Billy, parlando di Kim, ha continuato affermando: "Kim'a control freak, a nutcase! She's bipolar. She has multiple personalities. She's Greta Garbo: Leave me alone! She has a lot of mental problems. She's a neurotic mess. There's some defect in her brain chemistry. She's manipulative, she's selfish and she's out to make Alec Baldwin look as bad as possible in the eyes of the American Public". Complimenti a Billy per il bel ritrattino fatto a Kim! Ci sarà da crederci???
