PASTEL Mutation |
The mutation pastel is characterized from the reduction of the eumelanina and the feomelanina, creating a like effect of the plumes. The red mask is less intense, that has had to the action of the mutant gene on the red lipocrome. The mutation pastel, is overlapped easy to the other mutations, in fact coupling a subject pastel with an other mutation, we will obtain males pass-partout, than coupled later, for effect of crossing-over, they will give recombined females. The pastel mutation is recessive sex-tied type. |

Results of couplings. |

PASTEL MALE × PASTEL FEMALE |
In these couplings, the phenotype distinction of the bearers is possible only with the test of ulterior couplings. |
