My boyfriend - Curiste like me - and I decided to go to Roskilde by car. From Paris it is a long trip! We had a little problem with his car in Germany on the motorway because it was raining too much (but, fortunately, we arrived in DK alive!) Despite this accident we were very excited by the idea of seeing Robert that evening. Arrived in roskilde festival (9 am) we bought our tickets and met some other fans (germans, italians...) After that, we went to the camp to sleep a little (wich was difficult , I have to say). All this day we were frantic, waiting for our "Hero". We saw the show of Patti Smith (wich I quite liked). And after miles and miles away from home, hours + hours... , finally appeared the other Smith !!! I confess that the first notes of "Out of this world" made me cry... there was too much tensions during that concert, according to me. I don't know if it was because of last year tragedy, but I wasn't really "in" the concert. Maybe the show was too short, maybe there was too much stress (particulary from the festival staff...) and we had no place to move, or dance. So, in my opinion, it wasn't the best concert of Simon, Robert and the others. There are a lot of explications, and it's true we cannot forget what happened last year. I think "100 Years" coincided exactly with the atmosphere of the past moment , and it was my favourite song during the show. I liked also "The Kiss" VERY much (maybe the only "surprise"of that night). Otherwise, I found the show was very speed. I shouldn't have try to take photos (they are all missed!) cause it was useless. But I liked the sky that night, the only thing wich was peaceful. I found the photo "roskildemoon" on the *cure.com* eloquent and very expressive. To me, it's very representative of that night. Yes, Robert was in good mood, but not very fun, I found... maybe stressed, too?! Here you are, a little remembrance of their "only festival this summer"... Finally, I want to say I love Denmark for the beauty of its shore, sea, forest, and the niceness of the danish people. Well , hope I wasn't too boring to you... ;-) Compare my feelings to others, and you will have an idea of this occurrence. * *kiss for you * * *
