In the opening minutes, the Dow Jones industrials added 4.08 points to 11,674.43, the S&P 500 declined .44 of a point to 1,330.88, and the Nasdaq eased 4.61 points to 2,232.99.

2,500 without power on Fort Myers Beach WBBH
Approximately 2,500 people are without power on Fort Myers Beach. The problem was reported to FPL at 8:15 p.m. Officials with FPL are currently assessing the problem but they have no specific cause as of yet. There is no clear time of restoration as of right now.
