In KMix, I see 4 mixers: VIA 8235 Ensoniq AudioPCI Realtek ALC655 rev 0 eMicro EM28028 The only mixer I need to hear something, is Ensoniq AudioPCI. This mixer is set as default in my KDE-Configuration center > Soundsystem

One of the problems I'm seeing is that recording from Ensoniq AudioPCI card produces 8 wrong samples at regular intervals which generates a ticking background noise in the recorded audio. The samples seem to be part of the recorded
