Military Spokesman-Statement

Baghdad, Mar. 11, Ina

A spokesman for Iraqi air defence command told Ina that the Anglo-U.S. ravens on Monday violated once again civil targets and facilities backed by awacs plane from Saudi and e-2c plane from Kuwait territory

The aggressive warplanes flew over the civil areas and carried out 132 arme sorties in artawi, kut, jilaba, nasyria, shtra, basra, rifai, kalat suker, shikh saad, nikhb, diwabia, razaza, waleed, afij, samawa, anbar, akra, bibo, amadia, zakho, rawindoz, talafer, sinjar, ain zala and dhok, adding that our brave in air defence units and missile force resisted and forced them to leave our Iraqi airspace to their base of evil

He made it clear that the total number of air raids launched by the enemy ravens coming from Saudi, turkey and Kuwait bases over the period dec. 17, 1998-mar. 10, 2003 to 51273, the spokesman concluded
