What Could Fix This Almost-Cool Ikea Blimp Minimalist Toddler Bed?
The other annoyances are small [the ugly safety rail brackets] or big [the Ikea-only, "junior bed" mattress is 20cm longer than a standard crib-based toddler bed], but really, it's just those damn holes.

Ikea toddler beds are kind of a weird size. I thought they used a crib mattress but they don't. Unfortunately, they were entirely out of toddler bed mattress sheets--and don't expect to get any new ones before OCTOBER.

The no-sleep vacation
(I think I said: the toddler bed will look great in YOUR room. OK not the most tact.) So I am tempted to run over to IKEA when we arrive in my mom's town and picking up a very cheap crib for use while we are there.
