Wild West World's Independence Day Success (JULY 6, 2006) - On the 4th of July 2006, thousands poured into the new Wild West World Theme Park that is under construction near Wichita, Kansas in Park City.

Wild West World and the city of Park City joined together this year to host one of the largest area 4th of July celebrations in the state.

Although the guests were not allowed within the park due to the construction, a stage was erected in front of the Wild West World 80-foot flag pole in the 40-acre parking lot and guests enjoyed a great evening of entertainment as Americas’ birthday was celebrated cowboy style.

The United States Army provided a color guard to raise Wild West World’s giant American flag.
