Davey Havok (born David Marchand on November 20, 1975 in Rochester, New York) is the lead vocalist of the band.

His influences: Robert Smith (The Cure), Ian MacKaye (Minor Threat), Freddie Mercury (Queen), Glenn Danzig (The Misfits), Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode), Morrisey, Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), David Bowie,  Ian Curtis (Joy Division).

After High School Davey moved to Berkeley, California, where he attend UC Berkeley, planning to double major in english and psychology. He began constantly writing lyrics to songs that would eventually appear on the albums 'Answer that and stay Fashionable' and 'Very proud of Ya'.

In 2005, Davey Havok teamed up with Serious Clothing to release Glitterboy. Glitterboy Clothing is available through Hot Topic. Due to creativity differences between Havok and Serious, Glitterboy was canceled after only a few months. However, Davey is working on a new line which he said will be available in 2007.  (Wow...!!!)

Dopo il liceo, Davey si diresse a Berkeley, California, dove frequentò la University of California di Berkeley, prendendo i maggiori voti in inglese e psicologia. Egli iniziò a scrivere costantemente i testi delle canzoni che sarebbero poi eventualmente apparsi negli album 'Answer that and stay Fashionable' e 'Very proud of Ya'.

Nel 2005, Davey Havok collaborò con Serious Clothing per realizzare Glitterboy. (ovvero una linea di abbigliamento). Glitterboy si può acquistare attraverso "Hot Topic".   A causa delle differenze di creatività tra Havok e Serious, Glitterboy fu cancellato dopo solo pochi mesi. Comunque, Davey sta lavorando ad una nuova linea, che, lui dice, sarà acquistabile nel 2007. (Wow!!!)
