Hmm, can you post a screen shot of the drop down menu where you select the backup options? Also, have you tried unchecking the "Enable burning with Nero" option in DVD Shrink's preferences
dvd shrink: can't compress disc image with "open disc image"
I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 and have installed dvdshrink for wine. After creating an 8-gig iso image of a dvd, I pop up dvd shrink and "open disc image". The Analysis is fine with the DVD Structure showing up in a pane on the left.
