Toy shops help families fulfill Christmas dreams San Diego Union-Tribune
Dec. 9 (UNION-TRIBUNE): Mary Johnson believes in the Bible teaching that it is more blessed to give than to receive, so much so she has thousands of children on her holiday gift list.The same goes for many others in The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary who help organize six Toy & Joy shops around the county. Johnson, president of the auxiliary, carries a thick, white binder to keep her organized.
