A
meno di un anno dall'uscita dell'ultimo album "The Shadowline"
tornano la gothic darkwave inglese dei Libitina con questo "Reflections
& Refractions", album di remix che prendono da tutti e tre i
dischi della band "A Closer Communion", "Welranschauung",
ma soprattutto dall'ultimo album "The Shadowline" con 10 dei
14 brani qui presenti.. gli artisti che hanno partecipato a questo album
provengono un pò tutti da lidi EBM ed electro-industrial e troviamo
quindi remix di Terrorfakt, Inertia, Swarf, K-Nitrate (ex-Cubanate),
Sins of the Flesh e Pretentios, Moi?...
..un disco piacevole con dei remix che non sempre brillano di freschezza e originalità.. comunque ottima le prove di Terrorfakt nell'opener "Valediction", Pretentious, moi? nel remix di "Dirt I Cannot Wash" e Swarf in "A Higher Unity", ma anche il remix di Inertia non è niente male.. il resto delle canzoni non è a questi livelli ed è anche trascurabile.. comunque siamo sempre nel campo EBM.. insomma un dischetto piacevole ma nulla più che potrà piacere o meno ai fans della band.. e quei 3-4 remix che ho citato potranno essere usati per i club EBM.. ma comunque niente di che.. |
