NOSTROMO : THE FINAL COUNTDOWN... This summer festivals gave Nostromo the urge to take the road again, they decided to travel EUROPE, they won't do that on their own, no... they'll tour with the world leaders of the modern grindcore scene : Nasum (Sweden, Haven of Rock N' Roll). I can't find the words to qualify how crazy it's going to be, it's going to be HUGE, BESTIAL, it's going to be a mayhem, it's going to be fuckin' bad, in a word : freshness... The tour will take place in october/ november, the detailed venue dates will be soon available on our website. But before all that, the process will be softly started with an acoustic show at Geneva Festival de la Bâtie, with Brazen. If you get the chance to be in town, don't miss the train! The band will perform this way for the first time ever, the night can already be seen as anthologycal. Reminder : the song "Sunset Motel" is on the French movie SoundTrack "Dédales" directed by René Manzor, a dark psychological thriller, on Recall Records. A "Oulala" cover should soon appear on the Tribute to Ludwig Von 88 due to release on Crash Disques on october/november. The Poitiers guys' second album is recorded ! Mastering is left, then the cd is heading to the factory ! "Spherical Mirage" was recorded early august by Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast) at the LBLab Studio in Lille, it's oozing brutality and technique. The mix of Oldschool Death Metal, Hardcore, Grind and Mosh Parts is still there but this time with some Heavy/ Stoner breaks that fit perfectly, the little thing that gives a difference is the acoustic transitions made of acoustic guitar and cello giving the whole thing a darker and icy edge. This second album is rich and proves that the band knows how to try something new and how to get better throughout the years. "Spherical Mirage" is due to release on february 2004 on Overcome Records. From january 2003, the band is composed of Raul at guitar, Iñaki at bass, Edu at drums and Jesus at vocals, after several shows the band has become a fully-fledged entity that is preparing a Europe tour made of aproximatively 20 venue dates starting 16 october.
